Assisting Clients Nationwide with Sunscreen Lawsuits

The same sunscreen that is meant to protect you from skin cancer due to the sun’s harmful radiation could be what caused your recent cancer diagnosis. Several popular sunscreen brands have recently been recalled for unsafe benzene levels in them. Benzene is a chemical component that is a known carcinogen.

People who used benzene-laced sunscreen often might be at risk of:

  • Leukemia
  • Myeloma
  • Lymphoma
  • Other similar cancers

Did you use sunscreen often and were later diagnosed with cancer? There could be a connection that warrants a lawsuit against the sunscreen’s manufacturer. The Farmer & Klopfer can help you explore your options and take legal action. We assist clients in all 50 states.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) considered benzene as a solvent that is unsafe in drug manufacturing, as well as other substances that could be accidentally ingested, such as sunscreen.
  • Do other brands include sunscreen?
According to Valisure’s research, benzene has also been detected in these sunscreen brands:
