Attorney James E. Farmer will speak at a seminar presented by the National Business Institute (NBI) on Wednesday, November 13th.
The seminar, entitled “Doctor and Medical Expert Depositions: Key Techniques,” is labeled as a presentation on “Effective, Real-World Strategies and Questions for Doctor Depositions.” It is a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course for attorneys to learn more about doctor depositions. Attendees can expect to learn skills such as crafting questions and strategies, maintaining control, and preparing expert witnesses. Topics featured in Attorney Farmer’s presentation include “Translating Medical and Legal English Into Plain English,” “What to do When a Witness is Being Evasive or Defiant,” and “Effective Use of Evidence/Documents in Examination.”
The National Business Institute is an organization that provides CLE courses for attorneys and other legal professionals around the country. They offer in-person presentations, but interested lawyers can choose to attend a seminar remotely or review the content later by purchasing a recording of an event.
